From stray to star: 'Ugliest' kitten resembling Dobby and Baby Yoda goes viral on TikTok

An Indonesian kitten, bearing a resemblance to Dobby from Harry Potter, rose to viral fame on TikTok in 2024. The footage of the feline was shared during a work break by user @othersideofuupuuttt at a store. To date, it's been viewed by nearly 60 million people.

This cat, with its peculiar eyes and ears, has also been compared to Din Djarin, a character from the "Mandalorian" series, more commonly known as Baby Yoda. Commenters insisted that the TikToker disclose what eventually happened to the animal.

The one deemed as "the world's ugliest kitten" found a home. The individual who adopted him updated others on TikTok, stating his ears had sustained minor injuries, but the situation is now under control and the young cat is thriving.
