The TikToker has grown notorious for the chaos in his room, recognized by netizens. His bedroom is overflowing with garbage, filled with empty chip bags, candy wrappers, and fast-food bags. His desk is littered with empty coffee cups and soda cans.

The accumulation of waste "attracted" cockroaches, often featured in PowEnvy's videos. In a discussion with "Business Insider", he admits to encountering about three cockroaches every day, which he attempts to kill.
"It's like hunting for Pokémon. You roam the room and they suddenly pop out at you," he mentioned in one of his videos.
Jacob gained over 200 thousand new followers by showcasing his messy room. He insists his unkempt space is not due to intentional messiness, but a by-product of his lifestyle that involves eating takeout and spending time on his computer, without cleaning up afterwards.
"It’s not like I eat all day and toss leftovers on the floor. Sometimes, I forget," he said. "After eating, I don’t feel like going downstairs. I’d rather stay at my computer." He declared in a "Business Insider" interview.
Netizens display shock at the disorder in the TikToker's room
Many netizens are aghast at the state of PowEnvy's room, accusing him of reinforcing the stereotype of a disheveled gamer whose living conditions are unwelcoming. At one point, one of Jacob's friends asked him to tidy up his room and clean his rat's cage, as he found it unbearable to stay in such a messy environment.
"This guy's room is a biohazard"; I understand that cleaning can be tiring, but it’s crucial. Shut down your computer, turn on your favorite music, and start cleaning one area at a time. You can do it!" reads one comment.
