From 'Married with Children' to Hollywood diva: Katey Sagal's stunning transformation at 70
Katey Sagal was born into a family of five on January 19, 1954, in Los Angeles, to a Russian immigrant of Jewish descent and a singer.
Her parents, who passed away shortly after she entered adulthood, succeeded in instilling in Katey a passion for the arts and a flair for show business. The actress also admits in her autobiography that she was exposed to the darker side of the artistic world at an early age.

At the age of 12, I lived in the same building as Judy Garland. Her daughter, Lorna Luft, and I were friends in the neighborhood. Judy had numerous pills on her bedside table and always slept until noon, quite similar to my mom. Our relationship was close. Naturally, I believed this was the norm and that all moms consumed such a multitude of pills," Sagal shared in her autobiography, "Grace Notes: My Recollections"
