Over the past two years, the 29-year-old has been voluntarily cleaning the homes and apartments of people dealing with mental health issues. Most recently, she found herself working for people suffering from compulsive hoarding, also known as syllogomania. Their refrigerator, filled with food, hadn't been opened for three years!

Undeterred, Auri rolled up her sleeves and got to work on the daunting task of opening and subsequently cleaning the refrigerator. While the grotesque sight inside may have made others nauseated or faint, Kananen doesn't easily shy away from a challenge. She once again demonstrated her mastery in cleaning.

The notorious refrigerator: Now spotless thanks to the TikToker

As shown in the clip, the cleaner donned a specialized apron, gloves, and a face mask before opening the refrigerator. On the outside, it appeared quite ordinary, but inside lay a "biological bomb"—spoiled, decaying food. The smell would certainly have been overpowering.

Among the foul-smelling contents were a decaying egg carton, a packet of ham enveloped in a brown film, and a package of yogurt with a strange dark liquid. Once Kananen removed the foul-smelling items, she started scraping off a thick layer of brown deposit from the fridge's interior. After a thorough scrub with detergents, the refrigerator looked almost new!

Kananen's video went viral with netizens expressing shock and admiration. Many commented on her courage to undertake such an overwhelming task.

"I can smell the stench through my phone screen," wrote one user.
"I wouldn't dare to touch any of those items," added another netizen.
"I admire you. I couldn't watch the video all the way through," confessed a third viewer.
