Although her screen debut happened when she was 12, she didn't gain fame until a decade later, thanks to her impactful role as Cassie in the incredibly popular "Euphoria". Due to the success of this HBO series during 2019-2022, Sweeney was inundated with offers.

Over the past few years, she has appeared in high-profile projects such as Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood," and the Netflix hit anthology series "White Lotus". It showed her acting prowess in a one-woman show, the fact-based movie "Reality" by Tiny Satter. This coming year, she is set to join the Marvel team for "Madame Webb" by C.J. Clarkson, appearing alongside Dakota Johnson.

Sweeney returns to Australia

As reported by Daily Mail, the 26-year-old recently posted a short video on her Instagram stories, where her profile boasts over 16 million followers. She revealed that she had returned to Australia, showcasing her bikini attire and the view from her hotel balcony overlooking a sunlit beach.

As per the report, during a recent conversation with Glamour UK, the star revealed that she is in Australia for the pre-production of Ron Howard's new film "Eden". This location also served as the filming venue for her latest project, a romantic comedy titled "Just Not You" by Will Gluck, where she featured alongside Glen Powell.

Naturally, the on-screen chemistry sparked rumors about a potential romance between the two stars. Although they highly praise each other, the relationship remains strictly professional. Off-screen, Sweeney is linked with Jonathan Davino, one of the movie's producers. Speaking about Powell, she mentioned that she couldn't have imagined making this film - referring to "Just Not You" - with anyone else.
