Many pieces of information provided by Russian media or government representatives are elements of propaganda. Such reports are part of the informational war conducted by the Russian Federation.

Aleksey Chadayev, a former advisor to Vladimir Putin who, among other things, wrote speeches for the Russian president, predicts in an interview with Business Gazeta.ru that Russia may face serious challenges if it does not implement internal reforms. Chadayev warns that the country may find itself in a situation similar to Syria within the next 5-6 years.

Chadayev believes that the United States will take decisive steps to maintain its position as the world's leader. He predicts economic, military, and digital pressure from the USA. The analyst is also skeptical about the future of BRICS, claiming that the organization may fall apart.

An image blow for Russia

The analyst emphasizes that Russia should learn from its interventions in Syria and Ukraine. In both cases, the lack of decisive victories leads to prolonged instability. Chadayev notes that a truce without a final resolution poses long-term consequences. "We either fight or give up; there is no third option," he said. "So let's decide. But if you ask me, I am for fighting," Chadayev stated in one of the earlier interviews.

The former advisor to Putin believes that the downfall of Bashar al-Assad's regime was a serious image blow for Russia and Iran. At the same time, he emphasizes that without conducting thorough internal reforms, Russia may follow Syria's scenario.
