Ford lures rival muscle car fans with $1,000 Mustang discount
The American division of Ford has demonstrated its marketing acumen by announcing a promotional campaign designed to stir interest and potentially attract customers who have previously favored its rivals.

Charger, Challenger, Camaro, and Mustang have long competed. As the first three find themselves nearing retirement with no new models on the horizon, the Mustang stands out as the sole fresh entry among these traditional adversaries. Despite this apparent lack of competition, Ford has embarked on an assertive marketing strategy.
The offer is straightforward - owners of the aforementioned models from competing brands, provided they were manufactured after 1995, can purchase a new Mustang at a Ford dealership with a $1,000 discount.
However, interested parties should act swiftly, as the campaign concludes on April 30th. It remains to be seen how many Chargers, Challengers, and Camaros owners will be tempted to switch allegiances.
