The OnePlus Open has not had an easy path. The first foldable smartphone of this brand was announced in February and - according to official announcements - it was intended to hit the market in the summer. However, as we know, the plans were not realized.
In the meantime, leaks have emerged suggesting that a change in flexible screen suppliers may have caused the delay. There are also indications that the manufacturer has completely redesigned the device in the meantime, as the latest photos significantly deviate from the initial visualizations.
However, it seems that OnePlus Open is already down the home stretch, as the manufacturer has timidly started promotions, and now high-quality press materials have made their way to the network.

Photos of the upcoming phone were published by WinFuture. Like other flagship devices of this brand, the OnePlus Open is expected to be available in black and green versions.
According to leaks, OnePlus Open has:
- an external screen of 6.31 inches;
- a foldable internal screen of 7.8 inches;
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 2;
- 16 GB of RAM memory;
- 256 GB of data memory;
- 48 Mpix main camera;
- 48 Mpix camera with an ultrawide lens;
- 64 Mpix camera with a 3x periscope telephoto lens.
According to the mentioned service, in the USA the OnePlus Open will be priced at 1699 dollars.
For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the 12/256 GB version costs $1799 in the US. So, there's a chance that the foldable OnePlus smartphone will be a few hundred dollars cheaper.
It's worth noting that in some markets, OnePlus Open may be sold as OPPO Find N3. However, this is likely mainly relevant to Asia.
