The incident took place on Friday on a highway in Collier County. A small Bombardier Challenger 600 jet was in a dire situation and had to execute an emergency landing. It crashed into two cars before it erupted on a noise barrier.

"It's an unreal feeling, almost cinematic. We were just seconds away from death," reported Brianna Walker, a witness who was in a car at the scene at the time of the calamity, to the media.

Hailing from Ohio:

Five individuals were on board the Bombardier Challenger 600. The aircraft was on a journey from Columbus, Ohio, in the northern USA. The necessary decision for an emergency landing came about when both engines of the jet failed.

The state rescue services revealed that two people perished in the incident but did not specify whether they were passengers from the plane or the drivers. Nevertheless, it is known that at least three people from the plane survived.
