During the night, a fire erupted in the Perm region of Russia at an oil storage facility. According to "Ukrainska Pravda," the fire engulfed fuel tanks stored at the site.

The situation was reported on social media by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

A private oil storage facility covering 10,000 square meters in the industrial zone of the village of Osentsy is on fire. The flames have engulfed fuel containers," stated the service's announcement.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

This marks yet another fire in Russia in recent days. On Thursday, a fire broke out at a maximum-security penal colony in Yekaterinburg. According to Russian media, the facility houses approximately 1,500 inmates.

The Federal Penitentiary Service reports that no one was killed. Channel Shot claims that the fire occurred "immediately after joint fire-tactical exercises by the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations."
