Fire engulfs Russian rocket tech facility; roof collapses in Yekaterinburg
Approximately eleven thousand square feet were engulfed in flames in Yekaterinburg, Russia. A part of the building, where control systems and radio-electronic equipment for rocket technology are produced, is burning.

A fire broke out in one of the buildings of the Scientific-Production Association "Avtomatiki" in Yekaterinburg. The blaze has engulfed about 11,000 square feet.
In this building, tiles and microchips are produced, which are used to create control systems for Soyuz-2 rockets.
Huge fire in Russia, part of the building collapsed
NPO Avtomatiki specializes in developing and producing control systems and radio-electronic equipment for rocket and space technology and various industrial sectors.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the workshop's 5,400-square-foot roof had already collapsed. The RBC-Ukraine portal relayed this information.
Pungent, toxic fumes are rising in the city. Plumes of smoke are visible from across Yekaterinburg.
Ukrainian forces hit an oil base
Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces reported that they had struck an oil depot in Kursk, Russia, on Monday evening. According to intelligence reports, a fire broke out at the facility.
