Finnish defense suspects multiple Russian warplanes violated airspace

The Finnish Border Guard reported on Friday that it suspects four Russian military aircraft violated the country’s airspace on June 10.

The Finnish Ministry of Defense reported on Monday that it suspects a Russian military aircraft violated airspace for about 2 minutes on that day.

"The aircraft was in Finnish air space for aprroximately 2 minutes, as deepest 2,5 kilometers inside Finnish territory," the Ministry of Defense stated on Friday.

The statement mentioned two bombers and two fighters.

According to the Ministry of Defense, a Russian aircraft last violated Finnish airspace in August 2022.
