Fight Night Tragedy: Ardi Ndembo in Critical Condition After Knockout

Ardi Ndembo was severely knocked out by Nestor Santana in a bout for Team Combat League. The 27-year-old is currently in critical condition, a status also confirmed by the organization on its social media channels.

Ardi Ndembo fought Nestor Santana for Team Combat League on April 5 in Florida. Unfortunately, Ndembo's match ended tragically.

After one of Santana's moves, his opponent fell to the canvas. Ndembo did not get up, prompting immediate medical intervention. Eric Herrholz, the founder of Fight.TV detailed the event.

Ndembo remained on the canvas for a long time, over ten minutes without movement. Eventually, he was carried out on a stretcher. Sources from the fight organizers told me that Ndembo is currently in a pharmacological coma, and the prognosis is not the best. We are hoping for a miracle - wrote Herrholz on social media.

The Team Combat League organization also addressed the dramatic situation. On its Instagram, it posted a brief statement that underscores the severe condition Ndembo is in. The federation also launched an online fundraiser to support the boxer's treatment
