How do you confirm whether the man you're dating is genuinely single? How do you determine if your partner is cheating on you? Interestingly, there is a method growing in popularity that promises answers to these questions. However, experts warn that this technique may have serious consequences.

How to expose a betrayal? How can you be certain that the man you've met on an app and are dating is truly single? Numerous women suspecting deceit are sharing various strategies online. For instance, special groups exist on Facebook -these groups, largely female-led, aim to expose men involved in extramarital relationships.

"Fidelity testers" aid in uncovering infidelity

Some women go a step further and enlist the services of so-called fidelity testers. These testers engage the man on social media, initiating flirtatious interaction or suggesting a meeting.

The manner in which the recipients respond to these amorous, private messages can reveal whether they truly are committed to their relationships. If the recipients show interest in these attractive strangers, it is a cause for worry - they may be contemplating infidelity, showing a lack of seriousness towards their current relationship.

A relationship expert has mixed feelings

Though this method can yield results, it's not always recommended. "Living in perpetual fear that your partner might cheat isn't healthy. If your intuition suggests your partner is unfaithful, it's often because various red flags have cropped up. Instead of setting traps, maybe it's best to trust your instincts. Relax and move forward," says Jana Hocking, a relationship expert quoted by the "Daily Star".

However, Hocking also stated that she applauds women who "revealed creativity when it comes to spying on their partners". Yet, she confesses that she herself would be devoured by paranoic thoughts. "I love reading about it, but shouldn't dating be fun?" rhetorically asks the expert.
