The eight-episode series tells the story of Capote's relations with the so-called "Ladies Who Lunch"- New York's social life essentials.

Better than the first one?

The second season of the show, based on the bestselling book written by Laurence Leamer."Capote's Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era", is going to be tested with the FX’s 'Feud: Bette and Joan' which stole the hearts of both fans and critics.

First reviews don't look promising for the 'Swans'; Kelly Lawler didn't bite his tongue while writing his piece for USA TODAY as he called the series "Deathly dull, slow and tedious"

High class cast

Jon Robin Baitz wrote the script for the series, while Gus Van Sant directed most episodes, with other directors, like Jennifer Lynch and Max Winkler, helping him. Ryan Murphy decided to have one of Hollywood's brightest stars in case to show New York's social life in high-class society during the '70s. He starred Tom Hollander as the main character and surrounded him with Lee Radziwill (Calista Flockhart), Babe Paley (Naomi Watts), C.Z. Guest (Chloë Sevigny), Slim Keith (Diane Lane), and C.Z. Guest (Chloë Sevigny).

Where to watch

The series premiered just yesterday on FX; from today on, you can stream it on Hulu.
