Christmas trees with tuna paste - A holiday snack idea
Small, green cheese trees are sure to catch the guests' attention and introduce a holiday atmosphere, even if there's no snow outside the window.
You just need to combine all the ingredients and form small cones. The green color of dill and parsley, combined with red cranberries, creates a festive composition, while the mix of cottage cheese, tuna, pickles, and herbs provides a refreshing and distinct flavor.
Ingredients:
- 8.5 oz cream cheese
- 3.5 oz canned tuna in oil
- 3.5 oz chopped pickles
- Half of a red onion
- ⅓ cup sunflower seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 20 round crackers (approx. 1 inch in diameter)
- 20 pieces of dried cranberries
Preparation Method:
Step 1: Transfer the cream cheese to a bowl. Add finely chopped pickles, red onion, and drained tuna. Add sunflower seeds, season with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
Step 2: Place chopped fresh dill in one bowl and parsley in another. Take a portion of the mixture and roll it in the dill. Once the paste is coated, shape it into a cone-like a Christmas tree and further coat it in parsley.
Step 3: Place the trees on crackers and decorate with cranberries. They will be a hit at holiday tables and December parties. Enjoy!
