Chicken drumsticks with stuffing: required ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 8-10 mushrooms
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- Oil for cooking
- Half a block of cheese for grating
- Sweet pepper, salt, and pepper to taste
Chicken drumsticks with stuffing: preparation method
- With a sharp, thin knife, cut pieces of meat from under the drumstick skin. Chop them into small pieces.
- Chop the vegetables and mushrooms, then fry them in a pan with the diced meat and seasoning.
- Grate the cheese using a grater with large holes and sprinkle it over the stuffing.
- Thoroughly mix the stuffing and stuff it under the skin of the drumstick.
- Arrange the stuffed drumsticks in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the top with pepper, and add "leaves" of cold butter – this will result in crunchier chicken skin.
- Bake for an hour in an oven that has been preheated to 350°F.
- Serve with potatoes.
