Everything started on the evening of July 5th, when 9-year-old Oleg was playing with a candle at home. The young boy was conducting experiments that ended with the accidental ignition of spilled alcohol.

At that moment, Oleg's one-year-old sister Lisa was nearby. As a result of the small fire that broke out, the girl sustained burns.

The parents came running when they heard the child's screams. They quickly extinguished the fire. However, the boy's father, 38-year-old Andriej, panicked and decided to severely punish his son.

To make the boy fully understand what his younger sister felt, the man removed the boy's pants, poured alcohol on his buttocks, and set them on fire - reads a report on the Baza Telegram profile.

As a result, both the daughter and the son needed assistance. Currently, the children are in the Children's Hospital, and their condition is stable. The children's father has been detained by the police.

Balconies in Russia's colors. Residents have concerns

Practically every day, we report on unusual events happening in Russia. A few days ago, there was widespread news that residents of an apartment building in Novorossiysk, Russia, are afraid they will become a target of a Ukrainian drone because of lighting in the colors of the Russian flag.

Ukraine has long been developing long-range drones, allowing them to strike targets within Russian territory.

We are like a red rag to a bull - said one of the residents.
