The tragic fate of the ten-year-old from the United Kingdom was heard worldwide. The case came to light after police discovered the girl's body in a house in August 2023.

Shortly after fleeing to Pakistan, the 42-year-old father, Urfan Sharif, reported the incident. He left the UK accompanied by his partner and relative. The entire trio was brought before a British court.

The man confessed to the murder to the emergency operator, stating that he killed his daughter as a punishment. When asked for more details, he said, "She was misbehaving; I beat her. I didn't intend to kill her, but I beat her too much."

Now, the police have revealed a letter found beneath the girl's pillow. It's a handwritten note in which Sara Sharif's father also admits to killing his 10-year-old daughter "by beating." The text was shown to the jury.

On the first page, the father wrote: "I love you, Sara," and on the second: "Whoever finds this note, it was I, Urfan Sharif, who killed my daughter by beating. I am fleeing out of fear, but I promise to turn myself in to the police and face the punishment."

I swear to God, it was not my intention to kill her, but I lost control. My daughter is a Muslim. Can you bury her according to tradition? - the father of Sara asks in the letter.
