It has been reported that all the deceased were members of one family.
"The terrorist attack by the Ukrainian armed forces resulted in the tragic loss of nearly an entire family: the grandmother, mother, her partner, and her son, a 17-year-old boy, were killed," AFP quotes Gladkov.
Gladkov mentioned that only a little girl survived the attack.
Previously, Gladkov reported two deaths and four injuries.
In recent months, there have been regular incidents of shelling in Belgorod and its surrounding towns, located near the border with Ukraine's Kharkiv region. These attacks have seen an increase in the past few days.
On Saturday, regional authorities reported the deaths of two people.
