Burt became the most famous reptile in the world after the success of "Crocodile Dundee" and its sequel.

Employees of Crocosaurus Cove claim that Burt helped tourists gain knowledge about his "majestic" species for nearly two decades. Furthermore, according to abc.net.au, Burt... predicted election outcomes and sports events.

Penny Priest, the director of Crocosaurus Cove, quoted by the portal, stated that "Burt always had Hollywood in his blood," as he was named after American actor Burt Reynolds. "Burt was one of a kind and had a great personality," said Priest.
