Fall in love with autumn: Federer and Mikkelsen's swiss adventure

The National Tourist Organization of Switzerland has just released the latest commercial about autumn in this European country. The campaign features two stars: Roger Federer and Mads Mikkelsen.

The nearly two-minute humorous video shows the "behind the scenes" of filming the spot. The Swiss tennis player shows up on time, but the Danish actor is missing, immediately causing anxiety for the director.

Roger, where's Mads? We need to start shooting, the director says to Federer. He needs more time. He said that this commercial is about Swiss autumn, so he needs to feel it. He needs to connect with nature. Well, I don't know, that's what he said, replies the tennis player.

In the background, we hear a distant roar made by the actor. After a moment, we see that while the team waits for him on set, he is... hugging a tree. One of the assistants tries to encourage him to return, but to no avail.

Next, we see the actor catching rain on his tongue, tasting moss, and cuddling a cow. The frustrated director makes various phone calls. It's been five hours. Where's my actor?, he yells into the phone.

What's wrong with this guy? Is he crazy?, asks one of the women on set, hearing another scream from the actor. I don't know. Crazy or not?, Federer answers with a smile.

As the tennis player watches Mikkelsen making "angels" in the leaves, Federer catches a falling leaf himself and admires it.

Finally, the actor shows up on set. Time is money. Let's get started!, he says. Everyone gets to work, when they suddenly notice that Federer is missing... Where's Roger? asks Mikkelsen. In the next shot, we see Federer rolling in the leaves with a wide smile.

The campaign slogan is: "When you need to lose yourself in nature, you need Swiss autumn".
