In recent years, Willis has featured more in critically fantastic TV movies than blockbuster films. It eventually emerged that his health issues were behind this shift. In 2022, he retired from acting due to progressive aphasia, a condition that made it challenging for him to continue working. A year later, Bruce was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a subset of dementia.
Throughout his illness, Bruce Willis has been supported not only by his current wife, Emmy Heming, but also by Demi Moore, his partner during his peak in the 90s. The actor enjoys regular visits from his children from both unions. Recently, his eldest daughter, Rumer, shared insights into how the 69-year-old is coping.
"He's doing great. Yes, yes, he's doing well. Thank you very much for asking," she disclosed in an interview with Fox News.

Despite his advancing disease, the actor continues to engage in life as a husband, father, and grandfather. Rumer recounted a recent visit to her father, accompanied by her nearly 13-month-old daughter.
"It was incredibly touching and beautiful to watch him shower my daughter with love," she recounted in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
It's important to note that Bruce Willis is the father of five daughters and, to date, has one granddaughter.
