Drone incident in St. Petersburg

In a separate event, on Saturday morning, a residential block in St. Petersburg, located in the northwest of Russia, was damaged, as per Russian reports.

The news portal Novaya Gazeta.Europe mentioned that the cause was a drone striking the building. On the other hand, the Ukrainian Truth portal attributed the damage to Russian anti-aircraft defense efforts. The Mash channel reported that the drone, loaded with an explosive weighing approximately 7.7 pounds, was launched by the Ukrainian military.

Kyiv has yet to make a statement regarding this incident. The attack may have been aimed at a nearby fuel base, situated about 0.6 miles from the impacted building. Meduza, another news service, reported that following this incident, six people sought medical attention.
