Mexico's Essence Lies in its People and Culture

Anyone who has travelled knows that as a tourist, you only scratch the surface of the huge richness of local culture. Because Mexico is not just about historical sites, it's importantly about the people who live there.

Mexico's Unique Attractions Promise Adventure

Mexico is best known as the cradle of Aztec civilization. Visible remnants of this ancient culture attract history buffs and mystery seekers. One of the most significant ancient Mayan monuments, and one of the seven wonders of the world, is the town of Chichén Itzá with the famous Kukulcan Temple (El Castillo).

In the town of Tulum, you can marvel at the popular complex of Mayan temples. The ruins of the ancient "City of Dawn" are particularly known for the Temple of the Wind God. Tulum also boasts one of Mexico's most popular beaches, complete with white sand and crystal-clear water.

Other top attractions in Mexico include: Merida, the "White City" of Yucatan; the Laguna Bacalar, famous for its seven shades of blue; Cenote Ik Kil, Mexico's natural swimming pool; and the city of Uxmal, where you can view the renowned Pyramid of the Magician.

Another must-visit location in Mexico is Cancún, a trademark of the country and one of the largest and most popular tourist resorts. This is where beach enthusiasts seeking relaxation in luxury resorts, as well as diving aficionados, flock to. Close by Cancún is an underwater museum, home to about 400 exhibits.
