In an interview with ComicBook.com, producer Pavun Shetty admitted that he sees the great potential in the original world, considering the possibility of many spin-offs to be a realistic proposition. News about this didn't take long to follow.

Hola, Mexico!

Remember that "The Boys" has already spawned two spin-offs: the 2021 animated series "The Boys Presents: Diabolical," and "Generation V" from this year, with a continuation of the latter already confirmed. In the meantime, rumors about another production aligning with this universe have emerged online.

"Variety" magazine reports that the universe, thus far confined to an alternate reality of the United States, may now spread to Mexico. Word has it that work is in progress on a Spanish-language project, which will again be produced by Sony Pictures Television in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios. The screenplay for the new spin-off is rumored to be written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, known for his work with DC Entertainment studio on this year's "Blue Beetle."

The overarching narrative will be overseen by Eric Kripke who will serve as executive producer, alongside Seth Rogen, among others. The most exciting news is that acclaimed Mexican actors Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal have signed on for recurring roles.

Next in line for release are the upcoming seasons of the popular series: the fourth installment of "The Boys" and the second of "Generation V". Previous episodes of both series are available on the Amazon Prime Video platform.
