Marbella is a city located on the Spanish Costa Del Sol coast, one of the sunniest and warmest regions in Europe. In the European Best Destinations ranking, it was recognized as the number one European vacation spot this year. Marbella has won over not only tourists but also well-known celebrities and athletes.
Haaland bought an apartment in Marbella
Norwegian soccer player Erling Haaland of Manchester City, known for his penchant for luxurious products by Italian fashion designers, has purchased an apartment finished by the fashion house Fendi in Marbella. The cost of buying this luxurious property is staggering. According to information from Norwegian TV channel TV2, apartments in this complex cost between €2.5 ($3) million and €7 ($8) million. Haaland, investing in the largest available apartment, likely paid the highest price, approximately $8 million.
The apartment is located in a newly built 70-unit complex. The soccer player's villa has an area of about 3,230 square feet.
Haaland only confirms his tendency to invest in real estate with his purchase. This is the second property he has bought in this part of Spain. Two years ago, he bought a villa with a sea view of 10,559 square feet. Last year, he bought an apartment in downtown Oslo for €3.5 million (nearly $3.9 million).
According to Norwegian media, 24-year-old Haaland does not significantly burden his wealth by investing in additional properties. In September, according to calculations by the Norwegian financial magazine Kapital, the soccer player's wealth was €200 million (about $224 million).
