Epic Universe to open in 2025 with magical new worlds
Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort's newest theme park, will soon open its doors to the public. It will transport tourists to places such as the Ministry of Magic and the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

This new entertainment park is set to open on May 22, 2025, in Florida.

With the addition of this spectacular new theme park, our guests will embark on an unforgettable vacation experience with a week’s worth of thrills that will be nothing short of epic! Our Universe will never be the same."
Epic Universe will feature five themed worlds for visitors: Celestial Park, the wizarding world of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, and a zone based on the "How to Train Your Dragon" books and films.
Tourists will be delighted
The park will also feature three hotels, over 50 other attractions, and a dining area.
Tickets for Epic Universe will be released in stages starting October 22, 2024. This strategy is designed to manage the anticipated high demand and ensure guests have a unique experience. The first sales phase will focus on tickets related to vacation packages or multi-day tickets. Additionally, holders of annual passes to Universal Orlando can purchase a one-day ticket starting in October. For now, exact prices have not been disclosed. However, tickets will be expected to be around $134, as this is the cost for an adult entry to other parks in the network.
Epic Universe will be the third full-fledged theme park at Universal Orlando, joining the existing Universal Studios Florida (opened in 1990) and Universal’s Islands of Adventure (opened in 1999). Additionally, Universal Orlando has the Volcano Bay water park, which began operation in 2017.
