The Air India flight, en route from New York to Delhi, had to make an emergency landing in Moscow because of a passenger's sudden health crisis.

According to information from the Russian news channel Mash, the incident occurred during the flight when a passenger, approximately in his 60s, became unwell and required immediate medical attention.

The Air India crew promptly began medical assistance, starting resuscitation efforts to stabilize the passenger's condition. Intensive rescue efforts continued for several hours, with the staff doing everything possible to save the man. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, they could not save the 60-year-old passenger's life.

This led to an emergency landing at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport, where doctors were on standby. Upon landing, they confirmed the passenger's death, who held dual Indian and American citizenship.

While it is initially suspected that a heart attack might have caused the man's death, the possibility of poisoning is also being investigated, although this has not yet been confirmed. An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances of this tragic incident.

The Mash channel stresses the importance of a thorough investigation into the passenger's death to eliminate any uncertainties. Airport authorities and the airline are cooperating with law enforcement to resolve all aspects of this situation as quickly as possible.
