Elton John reveals severe eye infection affecting his vision
In his latest post on Instagram, Elton John shared some unfortunate news. The musician is struggling with serious eye problems and has lost vision in one of his eyes.

Over the years, Elton John has established himself as a true music icon. He spent half his life on stage, and this journey ended during the final concert of the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
After such a demanding time, the 76-year-old opted for rest, which was not the most enjoyable. In his latest Instagram post, Elton John revealed that he dealt with health problems throughout the summer.

Elton John published a worrisome post on Instagram, informing his fans that he struggled with health problems all summer. He developed an infection in his eye, causing significantly impaired vision.
Over the summer, I’ve been dealing with a severe eye infection that has unfortunately left me with only limited vision in one eye. I am healing, but it’s an extremely slow process and it will take some time before sight returns to the impacted eye - wrote Elton John on Instagram.
He thanked everyone who supported him during this difficult time.
I am so grateful for the excellent team of doctors and nurses and my family, who have taken such good care of me over the last several weeks. I have been quietly spending the summer recuperating at home, and am feeling positive about the progress I have made in my healing and recovery thus far - he added.
