Elon Musk SUES Grimes! A legal battle over children is brewing
Elon Musk has filed a lawsuit for legal custody of three children, whose mother is Grimes. Journalists from an American tabloid managed to obtain documents, which contain detailed information.
As reported by "Page Six", on September 13, Elon Musk delivered court documents to Grimes outlining his position on custody over their three children. Interestingly, a few days later the former partner filed a similar lawsuit herself.
It turns out that Grimes has complained about the restriction of her parental rights. A lawsuit was therefore filed for the "establishment of parental relations", which will be beneficial for both parties. As Grimes claims, Musk is said to be hindering her contact with their youngest son, Tau.
However, we now learn that the said events occurred just under a month after the 52-year-old Tesla CEO took this step first. Musk filed a petition in Texas, seeking to become the legal parent of X Æ A-Xii, Tau Techno Mechanicus, and Exy Dark Sideræl.
Elon Musk and Grimes are fighting for custody of the children
Elon asserts that he has so far exercised "actual custody and control of every child from the moment of birth". He emphasized that he fulfilled parental responsibilities while in Texas, where he currently resides and will remain for the next six months. In his opinion, his ex-partner is trying to "bypass the jurisdiction" of the Texas court with her actions.
The owner of X emphasizes that they want to sign a written agreement with the Canadian singer regarding the care of their three children. However, if they can't come to an agreement, they want a court in Texas to issue an order regarding the mentioned issues. They do not intend to participate in mediation, though.
