Main highlight of his visit was his participation in a discussion on internet-based anti-Semitism in Krakow on Monday evening. Alongside Ben Shapiro, he explored how this issue impacts the online community.
Musk is also scheduled to attend a memorial service on Tuesday at the former German Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Observance of the international holocaust remembrance day
His visit to Poland coincides with the commemoration of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day observed on January 27. These events are administered by the European Jewish Association (EJA).
Musk previously faced accusations of anti-Semitism when he concurred with an anonymous user on SpaceX, who claimed that Jewish communities promote "hatred against whites" and are accountable for attracting "hordes of minorities that flood the country".
Responses to this post were swift. The White House censured these comments, and several prominent advertisers, including the Disney corporation, declared a boycott of the platform. Musk subsequently conceded that his statement was "one of the stupidest things" he has ever done.
