Effortlessly delicious. New Year's Eve salad recipes for a stress-free celebration

The preparation only takes mere minutes, and the salad vanishes from the bowl even faster. The list of ingredients isn't long, and every item can be found at your local grocery store.

New Year's Eve salad recipe

Ingredients:

  • Double chicken fillet,
  • 1.1 pounds of red grapes,
  • 1 jar of pickled celery,
  • 1 can of corn,
  • Mayonnaise,
  • Salt and pepper.

Method:

  1. Cook the chicken in 1 quart of water with a spoonful of Vegeta seasoning. Once it cools down, chop it into small pieces and combine it with the other ingredients.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Refrigerate it for a while to allow flavors to blend, making the New Year's Eve salad all the more delicious.
  3. As you can see, this salad is very easy to prepare.

Mozzarella salad variation

Another great idea is to make a meat and mozzarella salad. Although it requires more ingredients and time, the final result is definitely worth it.

You'll need:

  • 0.88 pounds of ground poultry meat,
  • An egg,
  • Hot and sweet pepper powder, pepper, ground cumin, oregano, 1-2 tablespoons of oil,
  • 1/3 of a Napa cabbage head,
  • 2 medium tomatoes,
  • 0.22 pounds of leek (white part),
  • A ball of mozzarella cheese,
  • Dried basil, green basil leaf or parsley.

For the sauce you'll need:

  • 3 cloves of garlic,
  • 4 tablespoons of Greek yogurt,
  • 4 tablespoons of 18% cream,
  • 3 teaspoons of garlic mustard,
  • Provençal herbs, marjoram, dried dill, sea salt, and garlic pepper.

Method:

  1. Combine all the sauce ingredients. Chill it in the fridge for at least an hour.
  2. Transfer the meat to a bowl and mix in the spices. Cook in heated oil, stirring occasionally.
  3. Rinse and chop the Napa cabbage, tomatoes, and leek into fine pieces.
  4. Chop the mozzarella into cubes.
  5. To assemble: start with half of the cabbage, then add half of the tomatoes and leeks, spread half of the sauce, and top with half of the meat. Decorate the top layer with basil.
