Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" is igniting European fans. At a concert in Madrid, one of the attendees captured a "shadowy specter" on film.

The European leg of Taylor Swift's "Eras" concert tour is attracting hundreds of thousands of fans of today's biggest pop star. On May 30, the singer performed in Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu, the stadium of Real Madrid. The venue can hold up to 85,000 people. A video circulated online shows that someone else “turned up” at the Swift concert.

A "shadowy specter" appeared at Taylor Swift's concert in Madrid

The "specter" was described by the portal TMZ.com as "shadowy figures cloaked in darkness." It appeared at the top of the stadium during Swift's performance of the song "Delicate." While the singer was performing below, the attendee filming it panned the camera up, catching the outline of a figure swaying near the stadium roof.

Numerous, mostly humorous, speculations about the specter's identity have been circulating on social media. It has been suggested that it is "definitely" an alien, ghost, or "phantom of Bernabeu." There were also concerns that possibly one of Taylor Swift's natural "enemies" was "lurking" there. The most frequently mentioned people were the singer's ex-partner Joe Alwyn or Billie Eilish, who recently dared to question the sensibility of three-hour performances, thus landing on Swifties' "blocklist."

The identity of the Madrid "specter" has been revealed

One of the most popular comments on social media is the terse statement "Dancing phantoms on the terrace," a quote from the artist’s song "Loml." One Swiftie wrote, "Knowing Taylor Swift, it's probably her, and she’s teasing something."

The "mysterious" event was explained by one of Taylor Swift's fans at the Madrid concert. Under a post from Pop Base, a popular profile on the X platform, a user named Sebastián wrote, "It was a security guard. I was close to that section, and he stood there checking on us the whole time."
