In reality, salads hold a prominent place at Christmas. They're the first items to disappear from the plates. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that many Poles eagerly anticipate Christmas Eve primarily due to the prospect of their grandma's annual vegetable salad. There's nothing wrong with that. Just remember not to overlook this when planning your holiday menu. Our suggestion? It's wise to make more than one salad for the holidays.

Today, we're excited to share a tried-and-true recipe for one of the most suitable salads for the Christmas table. Holiday Salad with Marinated Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 large jar of marinated mushrooms,
  • 1 can of corn,
  • 8 eggs,
  • 1 medium-sized jar of pickles,
  • 1 large apple,
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
  • 2 flat teaspoons of mustard,
  • 2-3 tablespoons of pickle juice,
  • salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Peel and dice the boiled eggs. Transfer them to a large bowl. Add the chopped mushrooms, cucumbers, and apple. Then, add the drained corn.
  3. Now, add mayonnaise, mustard, and pickle juice to the salad. Season with salt and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly and chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Enjoy your meal!
