Whenever time is short, poultry is a great choice. Even chicken drumsticks, which indeed take a bit longer to bake, don't require marinating. Just rub them with spices and pop them in the oven.
Protein, vitamins, and much more
Chicken thighs are one of the most popular types of poultry meat. The dark meat of the thighs contains more myoglobin—a protein that stores oxygen in the muscles, enhancing their function. This makes the meat darker and richer in nutritional value. Chicken thighs also offer B vitamins as well as vitamins A, C, and D. Additionally, thighs are a source of iron, which is essential for transporting oxygen in the body. Eating dark poultry meat can promote brain function and support the circulatory system.
Delicious and economical
Chicken thighs can be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen. However, baking is definitely the most popular method. It's also extremely practical. After placing the thighs in the oven, there's practically nothing more you need to do. Baked thighs are often considered the most delicious. Furthermore, when baked with rice, they're incredibly filling and economical. This kind of dinner can satisfy the whole family. You can add canned vegetables left over from making salads toward the end of baking. Corn, beans, or green peas work well.
