If you believe that preparing a homemade drink for Christmas Eve is lengthy and intricate, allow me to calm your concerns right away. With us, you'll prepare it quickly and easily.

Prepare our homemade compote using dried fruit and serve it on Christmas Eve. It's a crowd-pleaser, no one will turn it down!

Ingredients:

  • 1.1 lbs of dried fruit (apples, pears, plums, and chokeberries),
  • 1.06 qt of cold water,
  • 3 teaspoons of sugar,
  • 3 tablespoons of lemon juice,
  • 1 cinnamon stick,
  • 2 star anise,
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

Instructions:

Step 1. Begin the recipe by transferring the dried fruit into a pot. This time, I'm using plums, chokeberries, pears, and apples for the recipe. Next, I fill the pot with cold water, and leave the pot to stand for 30 minutes.

Step 2. After 30 minutes, I place the pot on the stove and begin to cook the compote.
