On Thursday, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky was in Turkey. As the Anatolia agency reported that afternoon, his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara concluded after nearly three hours.
The discussion was a bilateral meeting between the leaders, closed to the press, and included a working lunch with the participation of delegations.
Earthquake in Turkey; Zelensky was there
While Zelensky was in Turkey, a 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Konya province in southern Turkey. The tremors were also felt in Ankara, the capital, where the leaders were located.
The earthquake happened at 8:46 AM Eastern Time. According to foreign media, no injuries were reported. Videos of the event appeared on social media.
