Linda Evans gained immense fame through her role as the noble wife of Blake Carrington, capturing the hearts of fans worldwide. Her character, an icon of elegance and luxury, was also endearingly modest and gentle.

Regarding her private life, Evans was born in 1942 and moved to Hollywood with her family as an infant, where she grew up. She began her career as a teenager in commercials.

She debuted at 18 in an NBC sitcom. However, her role in the "Dynasty" series, aired by ABC from 1981 to 1989, brought her true fame.

Her role in "Dynasty" earned her several industry awards, including a Golden Globe in 1982 and a People’s Choice Award in 1985. She eventually left the production shortly before the series ended. Evans explained that she wanted more from life but admitted that if she'd known the series would end a year later, she would have stayed until the end.

In her private life, Linda Evans was married twice to partners also in the film industry, which influenced her career. In the '70s, Evans took advantage of her fame, appearing in Playboy. In some interviews, she admitted not all her dreams had come true:

I longed to be a wife and mother. It didn’t happen. I was 38 and had faced a second failure, so I thought: Marriage is not for me. I’m getting married and divorced like Elizabeth Taylor. I guess it’s time to focus on my career - she recounted.

In the '80s, Evans faced health problems, and in 2009, she became one of the hosts of the TV show "Hell's Kitchen." In 2014, she made headlines when caught driving under the influence of alcohol. She returned to the big screen in 2021 in the movie "Swan Song."

Despite the passage of time, Linda Evans remains an icon of style and elegance, and time has been kind to her.
