Dylan Sprouse stood up for Kim Rhodes on the set of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody". The actress narrated the situation on the set of the series during the Back to the Beat podcast, revealing how the teen star courageously rebelled against the script.

The rule's exception contended here is actor Dylan Sprouse. In one episode of the "Back to the Best" podcast, Kim Rhodes, who portrayed the actor's mother in the "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" series, conceded that the then-young actor boldly protested against an inappropriate joke. The controversial line was likely planned for Sprouse when he was between 12 and 16 years old.

Dylan Sprouse, who portrayed Zack Martin, was scripted to make a disrespectful comment about the weight of his on-screen mother Carey Martin, enacted by Kim Rhodes. Rhodes was pregnant during the filming of the show. Nevertheless, Sprouse bravely objected, stating: "I wouldn't insult any woman in this way, especially not this one. Write something funny, and I'll say it". With this statement, Sprouse championed not just Rhodes, but all women who often become the subjects of such jokes.

Dylan's twin brother, Cole Sprouse, has also shared distressing experiences from working with the Disney Channel. The actor, now featuring in the series "Riverdale", revealed to the "New York Times" that during his tenure with Disney, he felt sexualized, and acting overall caused him great trauma.
