Relations between Duchess Kate and Meghan Markle are not the best. So claims Tom Bower, who, in his book, described the reasons for this conflict. Prince Harry's wife has not been depicted in a positive light.

Duchess Kate and Meghan Markle publicly supported each other during Queen Elizabeth II's funeral, but they were far from cordial behind the scenes. They were last seen together publicly in September 2022. Tom Bower believes that the reason for these cold relations is not as Meghan presented in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The author of the book "House of Beckham" sees her as a person with exaggerated, even unhealthy, ambitions, convinced that the British royal family operates under the same principles as Hollywood show business.

In his opinion, she wanted to be the sole heir to Princess Diana's legacy. She saw people who enjoyed a higher status in the aristocratic hierarchy as obstacles to achieving her goal of being at the very top.

This was not the only thing that alienated her from the 'Royals.' Rumours persist that she twisted facts during her infamous interview, claiming her sister-in-law made her cry in 2018. The British press speculated that it was quite the opposite, and the trigger was Meghan's relentless attitude towards the staff.

Duchess Kate supposedly stood up for the staff and didn't like the attire chosen by the then-bride for the children. It became clear then that they could forget about camaraderie, and the actress would see the future queen as a natural rival.

Meghan Markle also wanted to be more important than Victoria Beckham

In his new work, Tom Bower describes yet another anecdote from years ago. He claims that Prince Harry's beloved approached Victoria Beckham with a sense of superiority. She considered herself better than her, which the writer describes as a sign of vanity.

She was irritated to discover that the Beckhams had considerably more wealth than herself. They owned five homes, had constant access to private jets, invitations to sail on yachts and much more money. And she was soon to be a duchess — he revealed.

What do you think? Are these reports true, and is Meghan Markle really the villain in the Windsor family?
