Duchess Kate completely withdrew from public life in the first half of the year. Her dramatic confession about her battle with cancer by one of the most respected members of the royal family permanently put an end to the speculation surrounding the sudden disappearance of the 42-year-old. To the great joy of her compatriots, she appeared with her family during the Trooping the Colour military parade in June, also an occasion to celebrate the reigning monarch's birthday.

The wife of the British throne's heir has announced that as she progresses in her fight against the disease, she will make every effort to appear as often as possible alongside Prince William. She kept her word, attending a morning mass with her husband and their children on the last Sunday of August. The future royal couple deliberately refrained from announcing their presence to maintain the peace of the gathered faithful.
Duchess Kate dazzled with her outfit as always
The family of five arrived in the Scottish village of Crathie, located near Balmoral Castle, which serves as their private residence. Kate sat in the front passenger seat beside her husband, driving the Range Rover. The duchess, clearly in a good mood, charmed with a radiant smile.
Kate was considered an undisputed fashion authority in the British Isles, and this time, she chose a light brown blazer, which she complemented with a stylish hat adorned with pheasant feathers. On the other hand, William opted for a simple yet always elegant navy suit.
The couple, along with their children, sat in the front row. The service was also attended by, among others, King Charles, Queen Camilla, and Princess Anne along with her husband Sir Timothy Laurence.
