The most severe situation appears to be that of Kate Middleton, who, aside from her statement about the cancer diagnosis, has not appeared in public for six months.
Duchess Kate has cancer. She published a video stating, "I am currently in the early stages of treatment."
Although the royals have remained silent, not revealing the details of Duchess Kate's treatment, tabloids continuously write about her fight for health and how the 42-year-old feels.

In one of its latest articles, the newspaper "Marca" addressed the side effects of chemotherapy that Middleton is undergoing.
Kate Middleton is suffering hair loss and weight loss as she battles an undisclosed form of cancer, the article states.
The author goes on to list other side effects, such as nausea, mucositis, and gastrointestinal disorders, and mentions that it is not clear what type of cancer the Duchess is facing.

An informant from the "National Enquirer" is also quoted.
Kate and William are going through hell behind palace walls, a high-ranking royal courtier told the newspaper.
A person close to the royals added that the princely couple "are going to 'great lengths' to hide the disease from their three children." However, this is reportedly challenging because the cancer is "devastating" Kate.
