According to these channels operating on Telegram, there was a massive drone assault on Russian military facilities last night and this morning. The strikes were reported to be precise and targeted.

Available recordings online show fire and explosions, with frequent explosions audible in the background.

War blogger and former Ukrainian Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko, citing these social media channels in Crimea, suggests that the detonations were a result of drone activity.

There have been reports about an ammunitions depot being hit and secondary detonations resulting from that – wrote Gerashchenko on platform X.

The Ukrainian armed forces have not yet confirmed the attack on the Russian military facilities stationed in Crimea, and the full impact of the drone attack remains unknown.

The bombing of Crimea could be a retaliation for an attack that Russians carried out on Zaporizhzhia. Russian forces conducted heavy shelling in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia. A total of 150 drones participated in the attack, according to Ukrainska Pravda, resulting in 29 injuries and one fatality.

Ukrainian air defense shot down 64 military aircraft. Significant damage was also recorded among civilian structures in the east, north, and center of the country.

Many reports from Russian media and government representatives are likely unreliable and may form part of an information war by the Russian Federation.
