Drone strike on Russian base: A hangar and fuel depot hit

As a result of a drone attack on the military airport in Millerovo in the Rostov region of western Russia, a hangar and a fuel depot were damaged, according to satellite images published on Sunday by the Ukrinform agency.

The attack on the military airport in the Rostov region, which borders Ukraine, took place on Saturday night. Satellite images taken after the attack show three impact sites.

Attack on Russia: three targets hit

The Ukrainian agency reported that according to data from the Wikimapia service, one strike hit the technical-operational hangar, the second an open area, and the third one of the fuel depots.

On the other hand, Radio Free Europe noted that satellite images confirm the Russian statement that the attack did not damage any combat aircraft.

The 31st Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the 1st Mixed Aviation Division are stationed at the airport in Millerovo.
