Drone strike ignites chaos across Kyiv; fireball sighted
Since midnight, an air raid alert has been in effect in Kyiv and the surrounding region. The Russians have also launched drones targeting the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions. An explosion occurred in the Ukrainian capital, and a fireball was visible over the city. The raid continues.

According to media reports from the Ukrainian capital, a Russian drone struck the 108th floor of a skyscraper in the Pechersk district, which is on the right bank and also in the city center.
"Evacuation of people from the skyscraper in the Pechersk district is underway, following a fire caused by an enemy drone attack. No injuries have been reported. Emergency services are working on-site," stated the city military administration.
Later reports indicated that the drone hit the building's technical floor.
Drone fragments also fell in the Holosiivskyi district. "The shock wave damaged windows in some apartments of the building. We have no reports of casualties. A fuel station area near the garages is burning. Firefighters are on the scene," informed Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Debris from a downed drone also fell on a house in the Solomianskyi district, injuring one person. In the Obolonskyi district, debris ignited a business center building. Additionally, a two-story building caught fire in the Podilskyi district.
Alerts in some regions have been ongoing since 3:30 PM, particularly in the Chernihiv region. At this moment, authorities have not reported losses in other parts of the country.
