Drone footage reveals execution of Ukrainian soldiers
Journalists from the Associated Press have obtained shocking footage that serves as evidence of the execution of four Ukrainian soldiers captured by the Russians in the village of Piatykhatky in southern Ukraine. The Russians allegedly killed all the military personnel with shots to the back of the head.
The Associated Press reported that there are two versions of the recording of the same event. The first was recorded by a Russian drone, and the second by a Ukrainian drone. The Russian version shows the moment the soldiers were captured but does not include their murder.
Meanwhile, footage from the Ukrainian drone (available online but not published here due to its brutal nature) shows the entire course of the war crime.
The Ukrainian soldiers were captured in the village of Piatykhatky, in southern Ukraine. The military personnel were hiding in the rubble of a demolished house, from which they emerged one by one.
A Russian soldier constantly points a gun at the four Ukrainian soldiers, ordering them to lie face down on the ground. A search takes place. Afterward, one of the Russian soldiers takes a gun and kills the Ukrainian captives with shots to the back of the head. Other Russians join him.
Journalists from the Associated Press received the footage from European officials who wish to remain anonymous. The shocking execution was documented by a drone of the 128th Mountain Brigade.
The Russians deny the crime, and the evidence might be the aforementioned film from the Russian drone. This material is available on social media. The authors complemented it with ominous music and edited it to make it appear as if Ukrainian soldiers were being persuaded to surrender. The video ends with Ukrainian soldiers lying alive, face down on the ground.
