Double defeat for FC Barcelona's Jules Koundé: disastrous match and burglary the same day

FC Barcelona had a very successful previous season. After a prolonged break, the team managed to clinch the Spanish championship and the Supercup.

However, this season, Catalonia’s pride is faltering. Everything indicates an end to the season without any trophies to its name. The team lost the Spanish Supercup final, got eliminated from the King's Cup, and is also falling behind in La Liga. All that’s left for them is the Champions League, but even there, obtaining an ultimate victory seems daunting, especially considering their current form.

On that ill-fated Saturday, January 27, Xavi's proteges, who recently announced his departure for June 2024, experienced another league defeat. This time, Barcelona had to concede a 5:3 victory to Villarreal CF on their home ground after a wild game.

Unfortunately, the loss was not the worst news of the day for Jules Kounde. After the match, the Blaugrana star discovered that burglars had once again targeted his house, according to the Spanish media.

The criminals took advantage of the fact that the Frenchman's property was unoccupied while he was on the field. They managed to bypass the security fence and broke a window to gain entry to the residence.

Kounde, dealing with this issue for the second time, has already informed the police. An investigation has been initiated. The first step will be a detailed inventory of the stolen items to assess the total monetary loss the criminals made from the Barcelona star's house.

In April 2023, a similar incident occurred at the Frenchman's house. That time, the burglary also took place while he was on the field.
