Unwanted deposits can be found in almost every corner of the bathroom. They most often appear in the shower, bathtub, sink, and even on the tiles. Once they "settle," they can be hard to remove. Chemical agents often struggle to deal with them.
A way to tackle limescale
Many homeowners are well aware of limescale appearing on the surface of the shower cabin. Hard water, along with shampoo and soap residues, can leave unsightly marks. Regular cleaning is recommended and necessary to avoid permanent limescale buildup.
It's important to remove unpleasant deposits regularly. Limescale looks unattractive and can also cause damage. A large layer of deposits found in faucet nooks or shower heads can clog holes, causing very weak water pressure.
DIY method for limescale
This method is quick and cheap, and most importantly, no scrubbing is required.
Pour 1 ounce of hot water into a bowl. Then, add two tablespoons of sodium percarbonate and one tablespoon of citric acid. Mix everything vigorously and apply the mixture to the places where limescale builds up. Leave the mixture for 30 minutes. Under its influence, the limescale will start to fall off on its own. Finally, clean everything with a toothbrush and rinse with warm water.
