What is the best way to clean a sink?

Let's face it, few people enjoy dealing with stains, grime, or scale in their kitchen. However, it's no secret that the key to maintaining cleanliness is regular upkeep. This not only saves you from spending hours scrubbing before special occasions but can also tackle more significant problems when they arise. The secret weapon here? Some easy home tricks.

One such method for sink cleaning involves and baking soda and an item from your medicine cabinet - hydrogen peroxide. Both products are inexpensive, yet they effectively outperform pricier alternatives.

To clean your sink, first sprinkle baking soda over its entire surface. Wet the soda lightly with warm water and scrub the surface with a sponge. If visible stains remain, use hydrogen peroxide. Combined with baking soda, this will create a paste that disintegrates grime. Leave it on for a few minutes, rinse it off with warm water and a sponge, and it will remove any imperfections that have formed in the sink.

How should you clean a kitchen sink?

Though it seems simple, many people struggle with properly cleaning a kitchen sink. The cleaning method largely depends on the sink's material. Granite sinks, common in many homes, should not be rigorously scrubbed. For these, rinse gently with a soft sponge moistened with water and a bit of dish soap.

If you have a ceramic sink, first pour vinegar into the sink, then clean it with a sponge using dish soap or another gentle detergent.
